My Beliefs

If you know me, then you know that I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some know members of my Church as Mormons. We are Christians, followers of Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer, meaning that He suffered and died for me so that I can be cleansed from sin, resurrected, and made fit to live with God eternally.

To those who may feel that they are in bondage, I pray that the Spirit will carry these words to your heart. The Savior suffered and died for you. His atonement is so powerful that it can overcome the bondage of sin, the imprisonment of addiction, and the depths of spiritual and physical hell.

I also believe that God speaks to us today. We are His children and He loves us; because God doesn't change, this truth seems irrefutable to me. Why wouldn't he speak today, just as He did in times past? God speaks today through living prophets and apostles. The living prophet in our day is Thomas S. Monson.

These and the other many truths contained in the gospel of Jesus Christ have brought great joy and hope to my life. In particular, living the gospel has greatly blessed my family. We have grown closer together and to God. We believe that families can be made eternal in holy temples and take comfort in the fact that our family has been sealed together by God's servants.
